Envirowise seeks to provide support to all UK businesses on resource efficiency issues to help them minimise waste and maximise profits. We work closely with regional Business Support Organisations to ensure that the businesses we work with receive the support they need.

Waste to ResourcesLink opens in new window, the sustainable resource programme for North East England, offers regional businesses all the support they need to bring about change and benefit from this approach. This includes advice on improving resource efficiency and developing markets for recycled products and materials.

One NorthEastLink opens in new window is the Regional Development Agency set up in April 1999 to help the people of the North East to create and sustain jobs, prosperity and a higher quality of life. The Agency is responsible to the people of the North East and to the Government. One NorthEast, along with all other Regional Development Agencies across England, shares a common mission statement: 'To transform England's regions through sustainable economic development'.

The North East Processing Industry Cluster (NEPIC)Link opens in new window is an organisation formed by the 200 pharmaceutical, biotechnology, speciality, commodity and petrochemical companies based in the North East of England. They contribute to ~£8bn of the regions GDP and over 25% of the regions industrial base, employing 34,000 people directly and impacts indirectly on the income of a further 200,000.

Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS-NE)Link opens in new window is a BERR project set up to provide practical advice to manufacturing companies to solve manufacturing related issues. The service offers free diagnostic visits and subsidised consultancy.

The Service NetworkLink opens in new window is a membership organisation representing the professional and business service sector in the North East of England. We help our membership, of over 250 companies, to grow and develop their business through providing a wide range of services.

Constructing Excellence North EastLink opens in new window aims to deliver improved industry performance resulting in a demonstrably better built environment. The organisation acts as a unique bridge between industry, clients and government and the research community.

The Tees Valley Green Business NetworkLink opens in new window is led by a range of local organisations with an interest in supporting businesses and encouraging improved environmental performance. The Tees Valley Green Business Network website has been set up to help businesses find the information they need to take advantage of the commercial benefits that exist.
