Rob will explain how you can make the most of the free services from Envirowise, South West Design Programme, Carbon Trust, NISP and Business Link, highlighting key cost-saving actions that apply to all businesses, small and large.
10:10am Business case study by Jaspers, Michael Armstrong, Financial Controller Water recycling and re-use
10:30am Masterclass 1: Cutting energy costs by Ed Horgan, Carbon Trust. This workshop will provide you with skills to measure and monitor energy consumption, set realistic reduction targets, and understand and minimise energy costs. Ed will explore opportunities to reduce building energy - heating, lighting and hot water, engineering energy - motive power, controls and
compressed air.

1:15pm Masterclass 2: Revolutionising Product and Packaging Design by Mark Shayler, Envirowise. Mark will explore opportunities to reduce the materials and embodied carbon involved in producing and packaging your  products, as well as the materials you handle in your  business - transit packaging, raw materials, etc. This session covers effective methods for assessing materials, communicating your values, calculating the true cost of  wastes, and setting realistic reduction targets.
