Significant savings at hotel and golf resort from reducing waste - CS697

This Case Study describes how a systematic approach to resource efficiency at Fairmont St Andrews, a hotel and golf resort on the east coast of Scotland, resulted in total cost savings of over £209,000 between 2002 and 2006. A series of mainly no-cost and low-cost measures was implemented to reduce waste, water use and energy consumption. Further potential cost savings of over £310,000/year have been identified.
