This Guide provides an overview of cleaner technology and signposts to other sources of information about the range of opportunities available to UK companies. It describes a systematic approach to implementing cleaner technology and how to select the most appropriate and cost-effective cleaner technology options. The Guide covers: implementing cleaner technology; designing cleaner products; optimising processes; using new technology; and recovering and re-using materials. Case studies illustrate the significant cost savings and other benefits achieved by UK companies that have implemented cleaner technology. An accompanying A3 poster summarises the topics covered by the Guide.
